An Introduction from a Parvenu: A Nobody Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
Some of you might think I look familiar - I recently did a few ad campaigns for Triumvir that you might have seen in a few magazines. With that aside, I find it most difficult to single out and find just ONE word that best describes the gratification I get from untangling a mess of unanswered questions someone might have. I catch myself trying to answer questions that have yet to be asked… on a daily basis. Thus, my reputation here at Triumvir is not only “the girl that eats and eats and eats” but “the nosy girl” with an abundance of random factoids and no ears to share them with. I can’t help my titanic appetite for food or facts for that matter. Dorothy Parker took the words right out of my mouth when she said “The cure for boredom is curiosity; there isn’t a cure for curiosity” - I couldn’t agree with her more. With that being said, let me tell you what the hell I’m doing on here.
In this cut-throat industry that’s been brought up on hype, rumors, shit-talking and tall tales, I thought it would be interesting to hear what some of the more experienced and influential people have to say - so that us peons, if you will, can get a glimmer of what every angle of the spectrum looks like standing from behind their podiums. Aside from setting some records straight, this is in fact a fantastic learning opportunity that I refuse to pass up. With each interviewee, I aim to draw back the curtains and widen your horizons. I’m equipped with my list of honchos, my immodest questions, you the readers and OUR appetite for more.
