The world economy is in chaos, Madoff stole billions, gas is the lowest I’ve seen in more than four years, auto bailout for cars that don’t make much sense, the ex-president of Taiwan laundered millions and his son is a fucking pussy…etc, etc, etc…

My counterparts from across the Pacific asked me if the rumors are true about the streetwear market here in the US…well…let me clear my throat like Mr. Furley… If accounts are avoiding telephone calls and can’t pay their fucking bills then yeah the rumors are fucking true. But on the other hand thank you loyal customers because our web business have been excellent the last few months, and we couldn’t of done this without your loyalty. Maybe because our webstore; has the best customer service thus far, carries the entire collection, we pay our vendors on time so we’re on time, we ship on time, we educate our customers about our brand, and we fucking care about what we fucking do.

Like most underground labels, when I first started the brand all I wanted to do was get Triumvir into cool guy shops, will kids guess what I learned throughout the years? What..? Cool guy shops or not, the point of the game is to keep the brand alive and continue doing the things we want to do and have some left over money for rent, food, gas, women, and toys in our lives. So if a shop only wants to order six shirts every season and still not be able to pay on time then you can tell them to go fuck themselves. Brand helps shop = shop helps brand, and shops you’re not the only ones hurting…us brands hurt when you order and don’t fucking pay so quit your bitching..!

Extra two thumbs-up to the handful of shops that picked up the Street Fighter Collection, and an extra toe-up to the ones participating in the HD Remix Tournament. You know what bothered me the most about the Street Fighter Collection drop, the amount of shops that called to get it, it’s just like those friends who only call when they need a fucking ride or want to hang out when there are girls around. Honestly, we had a chance to make more money off this collection but Kevin, Richard, Brian and I agreed that we’ll only sell to good standing accounts, and to accounts that will pick/represent the whole SF Collection. And this will be our mindset for 2009.

So what did we talk about…all of the above and what every other small business people are talking about…”Surviving 2009.” No smoke & mirrors here people, when we ball we’ll let you guys know, but for now its survival of the fittest.
