Blind Faith: Snap-Back & Tee
Blind Faith Graphic Concept: Part of the Blind Faith collection consists of a snap-back hat and a t-shirt to complete the look with the Constantine’s Bomber Jacket. I stumbled upon this graphic (below) when I was researching WWII nose art, which is a painting or design on a military aircraft also known as aircraft graffiti. I always thought the GI’s who designed these insignias for their bombers or squadrons were pretty unique and creative, it almost gave these machineries its own life and character… it’s like naming your car or belonging to a car crew… not that I was ever in one… I thought the graphic of Felix delivering a bomb fitted very well with the Blind Faith theme and that of Constantine the Greats’ story of adorning Christ’s symbol in the Civil War (see prior posts on the main concept). The blind fold was put around the eyes to signify the “blind,” while delivering the bomb signifies the “faith,” and if you didn’t know Felix in Latin translates to “lucky” and so here is my interpretation of Blind Faith into a graphic….

Blind Faith Snap-Back: Two color-ways shown here, off-white/burgundy and black/gray. The snap-back features a flat embroidery on the crown and “Blind Faith” embroidery on the under-bill.

Blind Faith Tee: Shown here is the black version of the tee on a slimmer body that Triumvir has adapted. The tee also comes in white and off-white.

US Navy Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA-31) “Tomcatters,” one of the oldest squadrons in US history that is still active on duty. Here you see the insignia on a F-14 Tomcat.
