We had the pleasure of taking a road trip today to pay the boys over at PickYourShoes.com a visit and also drop off the freshly printed Triumvir X Super Street Fighter tees.  These include the exclusively available at PickYourShoes.com only colorways.  I must say my jaw hit the floor when I walked into their warehouse.  It’s not the sheer size of the place that stunned me, it was the walls and walls of shoes.  It must be kind of like Charlie’s first time in the chocolate factory.  I’ve shopped and browsed PYS since about 2006 and it’s funny to realize that we never think about what it’s like behind the curtain, where something comes from or how it works.  Well here’s a peek at a sleeping giant.

A tour of the place and a nice chat about the changes that are stirring.  Both of us being heavy with online retailing that was the main topic of conversation.  I’m eager to see the new website when it launches.  It will be more than just an aesthetic overhaul, there will be lots of technical advancements as well to usher the site into the age of the new internet.  All this is being done to ensure we, the customers, can have a more enjoyable and efficient experience.

These Reebok Pump - Dee Brown Originals won’t be in this warehouse long.  I remember when I was a kid and the pumps first came out, I really thought pumping up that little basketball would make me perform better on the court.  I still sucked at ballin’ but it provided that swagger regardless.  Pumps still have a special place in my heart to this day.

Only in America can you start in a garage and end up here.  Not bad for a sneaker head with an idea huh?
